I had someone ask me this privately today my inciination was to tell them this wasnt
happening and for the same reasons you quote - however the 7.83 is the baseline
(which wont change unless the diameter changes)
however actual output and frq can ring to the higher
octaves esp when the atmospheric density / pressure
changes, and we see the base line go up to a higher octave, if it holds there
for a significant duration then this likely would have an adverse effect on
